Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea chose Centaur Construction for the renovation/remodel of their existing Broadway location. The design was created by Wheeler Kearns Architects who focused on atmosphere and delivered twice as much seating. The renovation included removing everything down to studs in most of the approximately 2,000 square foot space. New casework, custom quartz counter tops and solid hickory wood are all new features of the main coffee bar and newly added rear espresso bar. Other key elements include a custom raw metal merchandise display with integrated cold case, custom 3D feature wall and finishes throughout with materials from around the world such as Italy for the bar tiles. Intelligentsia required this renovation to transpire within a three week schedule so business would not get interrupted and clients can still have their morning brew. Centaur was committed and executed within that time frame allowing business to continue flawlessly. The Broadway location is surely a staple for Intelligentsia and a fantastic place for anyone to enjoy some of their amazing coffee and other products.
