Centaur was presented with a truly challenging opportunity when approached by Vosges Chocolates to remodel an interior space for an existing store on Michigan Avenue. The schedule consisted of 4.5 days of construction – each day involving multiple shifts to maximize efficiency. Prior to the project commencing, Centaur ensured everything was in place, so when the 4.5 days began, we could “hit the ground running.” The remodel consisted of the exposed concrete floors being shot blasted and recoated, the walls and ceilings were painted, the majority of walls received a specialty wallpaper. New electrical fixtures were installed, and some existing fixtures were modified or removed altogether. New speakers and millwork, cabinets and shelving, was added and all existing countertops were replaced with new Calcutta Gold marble. The project was completed ontime through the dedication of the entire team.
