W HOTEL
Centaur was chosen by Starwood for the comprehensive hotel renovation of the 75 year-old building that houses W Hotel. The fast track schedule was imperative due to the hotel remaining open at half capacity while the entire plumbing system on the lower floors was replaced. With the hotel continuing to cater to guests, extensive pre-construction planning and scheduling remained essential for the project, the hotel staff, and the guests. Centaur renovated 17 guest room floors, including approximately 425 rooms, 1 meeting room/office floor complete with fitness center, and replacement of the entire plumbing system. Complete organization and cooperation were required to bring the project to completion.
