Nobu “Topping Out” Event
We’ve topped out! On August 10th, 2018, Centaur Construction, along with the collaborative efforts of numerous subcontractors, completed a major milestone on the Nobu Hotel & Restaurant Chicago. The term ‘topping out’ refers to the installation of the final piece of structure. It is an age-old tradition that celebrates a measure of accomplishment and an opportunity to show appreciation to all parties involved. Centaur’s CEO, Spiro Tsaparas, thanked the team for their outstanding performance thus far. The event was a great success including amazing food, prizes, dedicated people and a significant group photo to end the day. Thirteen stories off the ground, Centaur is excited to focus on the next phase of construction. Nobu is expected to open Summer of 2019 in the West Loop.
