PRIVATE BEACH RESIDENCE

Centaur was retained by the owners to construct their new home on Lake Michigan. The owners demanded the absolute latest in green building and home automation, and what they were delivered was a marvel of modern design. Under the watchful eye of Booth Hansen Architects, Centaur began it’s work on the 6,800 square foot home, including a detached boathouse. A facade of glass, steel, and stone displays sleek lines and an ultra modern look. Floor to ceiling windows on the lakefront exposure boast an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. A custom designed wine cellar with a pivoting glass door allows for viewing the cellar and its collection from an interior hallway. An outdoor patio with a barbeque completes this lake house. The modern design coupled with the cozy feel of a welcoming lake house came together in absolute perfection, to the delight of the owners.
